South Florida Science Center & Observatory Solar Observing

The Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches sponsors solar observing in the Science Center's Observatory every Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.  The observing runs from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Participants will be able to see sunspots and other solar features invisible in ordinary white light telescopes.  Club volunteers interested in learning how to use the solar telescope are requested, along with crowd-control helpers.
