On Saturday, September 25, ASPB scholarship recipients Tegan MacDonald and Alley Robinson accompanied ASPB members Tom Sarko and Curtis MacDonald to the 2010 Kennedy Space Center Family Day/Take Our Children to Work Day. Highlights included a drive-through tour of Launch Complex 39 where space shuttle Discovery is being prepared for its November liftoff, visits to the Space Shuttle Main Engine Shop and Orbiter Processing Facility 2, where the orbiter Endeavour is being readied for what is currently scheduled to be the final space shuttle mission, and visits to the Vehicle Assembly Building and Space Station Processing Facility.
